Carlos Merida

Carlos Merida has over two decades of work experience, starting in 1997 as a Senior Consultant at Cambridge Technology Partners. Carlos worked as a Manager at Adjoined Consulting from 1999 to 2000 and then as a Senior Consultant at Answerthink Consulting from 2000 to 2003. From 2003 to 2005, they served as a Technical Architect at Eaglecreek. Carlos then joined Capgemini in 2005, where they worked as a Senior Manager - Siebel UCM and CRM Architect until 2011.

Carlos then joined Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. in 2011, working as a Siebel CRM/MDM and Salesforce Technical Architect until 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Director of Customer Data Solutions at Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

In 2019, Carlos joined Sony Music Entertainment as the VP Data Platforms and Solutions. Carlos held this position until 2021 when they were promoted to SVP Engineering | Data | CRM.

Currently, they are employed at Holiday Inn Club Vacations as the Vice President of Engineering, Architecture and Data, a position they started in June 2023.

Carlos Merida obtained their Systems Engineer degree from Universidad Metropolitana in Venezuela between 1991 and 1997. Additionally, they obtained the Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder Certification in 2016.
