John White

John White has extensive work experience in various roles related to technology, architecture, and strategy. John began their career in 1998 at Isle of Wight NHS Trust as a Systems Support Analyst, where they designed and implemented the trust's first Intranet and website. John also upgraded PCs and configured terminal servers. From 2000 to 2003, they worked at Norsk Data as a Senior Developer, leading a team and working on projects involving intranet, extranet, and client-based applications.

From 2003 to 2010, John worked at Nationwide Building Society, starting as a Senior System Developer and later transitioning to the role of Domain Architect. John was responsible for designing and guiding the application and services architecture, as well as providing architectural guidance and leadership. John also contributed to the payments and integration aspects of the Building Society's Core Banking Platform Replacement Programme.

In 2010, John joined IBM as an Executive IT Architect, where they performed various roles in the financial services sector, including lead architect, technical design authority manager, and programme method consultant. John helped clients implement large-scale integration programs and led architectural releases for the IBM Financial Transaction Manager product.

From 2016 to 2020, John worked at EY as a Senior Manager and later as a Director. John'sresponsibilities included managing teams and overseeing projects related to technology and strategy.

Since 2020, John has been at Hollard Insurance Australia, initially serving as the Head of IT Strategy and Architecture. John then took on the roles of Head of Technology, Enterprise Architecture & Strategy (Group) and Head of Platform Strategy and Architecture. In these roles, they are responsible for the technology platform strategy, enterprise architecture, and development of various channels and lines of business.

John White obtained their Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Information Technology from Bournemouth University, where they studied from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, they have obtained various professional certifications, including the Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in July 2023 and the Professional Certification: Level 3 Architect - Professional Development Milestone from The Open Group in February 2022. In 2016, they obtained the Professional Certification: Level 3 - Distinguished Architect and the Professional Certification: Level 3 - Distinguished Certified Architect, both from The Open Group. In 2022, they also earned a certification in Advanced Experimentation from Methodry.
