Julie King has worked in various roles within the insurance industry. Julie started their career in 2015 as a Customer Service Representative at Roper Insurance. Julie then moved on to The Business Protection Team in 2016, where they served as a Commercial Account Manager. In 2017, they joined USI Insurance Services as an Assistant Commercial Account Manager. In 2020, Julie worked as a Commercial Account Manager at The Buckner Company before joining Orcutt Insurance Group LLC later in the same year as an Account Manager. Currently, Julie is employed at Holmes Murphy & Associates as an Executive Risk Placement Specialist, starting in August 2021.

Julie King obtained their Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from the Community College of Aurora, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. In addition to their degree, Julie holds certifications in Management Liability Insurance Specialist from the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI), and they are a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) from The National Alliance. Julie also holds a Paralegal certification from the Colorado Bar Association. Furthermore, they maintain a Resident Producer-Casualty, Property license from the Colorado Division of Insurance. The exact dates of obtaining the additional certifications are not provided.
