Erik Sorensen

Erik Sorensen has had a diverse work experience in the field of mortgage and capital markets. Erik started their career at Irwin Mortgage Co. in 1981, where they held the position of Senior Vice President until 2005. Following this, they worked at Irwin Home Equity as a Senior Vice President from 2006 to 2009. Erik then founded their own company, Sorensen Consulting, where they served as a Mortgage Consultant from 2009 to 2013. Afterwards, they joined Stonegate Mortgage Corporation as the SVP Capital Markets from 2013 to 2017. Most recently, they worked at Home Point Financial as the Senior Managing Director - Capital Markets from 2017 to their retirement in 2018.

Erik Sorensen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Purdue University in the years 1973 to 1977.
