Jack Prescott

Jack Prescott is an accomplished Deep Learning Research Engineer with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently employed at Nex since March 2020, Jack has also served as a Program Manager for Strategic Initiatives. Prior to Nex, Jack worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at the University of Virginia, where participation in research led to a first-author paper accepted at ICLR 2021. Additional roles include internships at Jump Trading LLC, Apple, and Microsoft, where Jack contributed to software development and product marketing. Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and Astronomy from the University of Virginia, completed in 2021.
