Steve Gates

Steve Gates has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1994 when they served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. After that, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Flagel Huber Flagel from 2000 to 2004, and then as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young in 2004.

In 2005, Gates joined Omnicare as a Regional Controller, where they led accounting and finance functions for 10 business units. Steve was also involved in market strategy and provided financial insights to local leadership.

Gates continued their career at Omnicare and took on roles with increasing responsibility, including Regional CFO, Divisional CFO, and Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. After leaving Omnicare in 2016, Gates co-founded Panoptic Solutions, LLC, a company that helped maximize profit potential for nursing home owners by navigating complex pharmacy pricing.

In 2017, Gates joined Remedi SeniorCare Pharmacy as the Vice President of Strategy, and later became the Senior Vice President of Strategy. In these roles, they supported the company's strategic and financial goals, developed and executed a multi-year strategic plan, and led strategic M&A initiatives.

Most recently, Gates joined HomeFree Pharmacy Services in 2021 as the Chief Financial Officer. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations.

Steve Gates attended Wright State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting in the year 2000.
