Johannès Chapas

Johannès Chapas is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in data science and engineering across various roles. Currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at Homeloop since January 2021, Johannès oversees the data science team, defining the data roadmap, managing team recruitment, and implementing automated data pipelines. Prior experience includes working as a Data Intelligence consultant at Oresys from June 2017 to October 2020, where responsibilities involved data collection, machine learning model design, and business intelligence project management. Johannès also co-founded Eklera, a community learning platform, where project management and full-stack development were key duties. Johannès holds a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne and had a brief educational experience at National Taiwan University in 2016.
