Monique G.

Monique G. has worked in the social services field for over 28 years, starting in 1991 with Comprehensive Personal Care Services, Inc. as an Intake Supervisor, Professional Guardian & Care Manager. In this role, they were responsible for formulating and implementing a program to increase client retention and satisfaction, as well as supervising the delivery of this program. Monique was also instrumental in marketing the agency's services and serving as the initial point of contact, increasing the agency's exposure and client base. In 2019, Monique joined Baptist Health South Florida as a Social Work Case Manager, where they intervened with patients and families to provide assistance and support in dealing with illness and hospitalization. Monique conducted comprehensive psychosocial assessments and provided referrals to meet the medical, social, and financial needs of patients. In 2020, they began working as a Care Guide at Homethrive, Inc.

Monique G. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Miami in 1991, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. Monique then went on to earn their Master of Social Work (MSW) from Barry University in 1996, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling. In September of 1996, Monique G. was certified as a Professional Guardian by the South Florida Guardianship Organization.
