Senior Game Designer at Homo Ludens

Simon Albou has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of game design. Simon is currently working as a Senior Game Designer at Homo Ludens since May 2022. Prior to this, Simon has held various roles at different companies. From October 2017 to July 2022, they worked as a Référent Pédagogique Game Design / Programmation at Supinfogame - Rubika. Before that, from November 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Game Developer at Red Corner. Simon also worked as a Game Designer / Développeur at Neko Entertainment from September 2014 to August 2015. Simon gained valuable experience as a Développeur Unity 3D at Serious Game Lab in June 2014, where they worked on prototyping and complete documentation of a project related to the concept of avatars. From September 2013 to April 2014, they worked as a Game Designer - Intégrateur Unity at Tekneo SAS, where they revamped the game design of a platformer project and also handled level design and Unity integration. Simon's earlier experience includes working as a Game Designer at Metidia in July 2013, where they worked on the development of a Serious Game focused on teaching the basics of oenology, including designing quests and creating matrices for Rational Game Design.

Simon Albou obtained their Bachelor's degree in Game Design from ICAN. Simon pursued their education at ICAN from 2011 to 2014.
