Matthew Vera

Matthew Vera is a Mechanical Engineer at Honeybee Robotics since August 2019, focusing on design and analysis projects for space flight hardware. Prior experience includes serving as President of USC AUV from August 2017 to May 2019, interning at Honeybee Robotics' Exploration Technology Group where extensive testing for a lunar drill mechanism occurred, and contributing to NASA Ames Research Center as a Thermal Protection Division Intern. At NASA, responsibilities included creating technical drawings and designing components for heat shield sensors. Matthew also held various roles in leadership and volunteer capacities, demonstrating a commitment to community service and team-oriented projects. Matthew holds a degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
