Philip Ng is a Software Engineering Manager at Honeybee Robotics since 2018, where responsibilities include growing a software team, managing software resources across multiple projects, and developing strategies for future software processes. Philip has contributed to the TRIDENT Drill project by developing both the engineering and flight unit software, as well as creating the software plan for the Dragonfly project. Prior to this, Philip held the role of Software Engineer, focusing on developing flight software and automated testing for NASA missions. Earlier experience includes a position as Firmware Engineer at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, developing autopilot flight controls for drones, and a Senior Firmware Engineer role at Western Digital Corporation, where efficient device drivers for ASIC and mechanical systems were created. Philip holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
