Walter Balmas

Walter Balmas has over 10 years of work experience. Walter began their career in 2009 as a Product Development Consultant for Access to Money. From 2010-2012, they worked as a Product Development Consultant for Cooperative Center FCU, Oregon Community Credit Union, and New York University Federal Credit Union. In 2012, they took on the role of VP/Strategic Services at SoFi. In 2014, they became Co-Founder of SimpleFi Financial Wellness. From 2016-2017, they were an Advisor for Silvercrest, Funding U, and Informed.IQ. In 2017, they took on the role of Head of Compliance, Partnerships & Customer Success at HoneyBee Financial Wellness.

Walter Balmas attended the University of Southern California from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs.
