Shai Brumer

Shai Brumer has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Shai started their career as a DBA and Senior Programmer at IDF, where they managed and developed mission-critical infrastructure. Following this, they worked as a Team Leader, leading teams of developers and overseeing the entire product lifecycle.

Brumer then joined Advantech as a Senior Consultant, where they evaluated new technologies, developed proof-of-concepts, and provided architecture and design solutions for customer projects.

Shai later co-founded Mealway, a food recommendation solution that analyzed personal taste, social activity, and preferences to provide the best dining options. As the co-founder and CTO, they built the product on a scalable cloud-based infrastructure.

Brumer also served as the CTO at Choozer, a startup that developed platforms for social network search optimization and political engagement. Shai played a vital role in product development, UX/UI design, and interacting with investors and consumers.

At Vicomi, an internet technology company, Brumer co-founded the company and served as the CTO. Shai played multiple roles, including architecting and developing the product, leading the algorithm team, and interacting with investors and consumers.

Currently, Brumer is working at HoneyBook, starting as the Director of Data & Scale in 2016 and recently being promoted to Sr. Director, Data & Scale in 2022.

Shai Brumer holds a BSc in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, which was completed in 2008. Additionally, they have pursued studies in Computer Science at Mamram, IDF.
