Lori Okawa

Lori Okawa, PHR has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Lori currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Honolulu Cookie Company, where they oversee all HR functions. Prior to this, Lori was the Director of Human Resources at HouseMart | Ace Hardware | Ben Franklin Crafts | Daiso, where they managed a team of five and supported over 560 employees. Lori also held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Maui Divers of Hawaii and Maui Divers Jewelry, where they oversaw all HR functions for both companies and implemented projects to increase revenue. Additionally, Lori has experience working in non-profit and regulated environments as the Director of Human Resources at Blood Bank of Hawaii. Lori began their career as an HR Assistant at Chaney Brooks and also spent time at Fairfield Resorts in an Operations/Human Resource Manager role. Lori is a member of SHRM and holds a PHR certification.

Lori Okawa, PHR obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management at Hawaii Pacific University from 2010 to 2012.
