Mike Morris has a long and varied work experience. Mike began their career in 1998 as a VSAT Installation Technician at Intermountain Satellite Services. In 2000, they took on the role of Presales Level 2 Engineer at Nortel Networks. In 2001, they became the District Support Manager and Technical Support Engineer at Flying J. In 2011, they began working at Zonerecycling.com as an Information Technologies Specialist. That same year, they also began their studies at Salt Lake Community College, majoring in Computer Science. In 2012, they took on the role of Systems Administrator at Insure-Rite and PC/Network Maintenance & VPN Tunnel Configuration at Precision Sleep Services. In 2015, they became the Director Of Information Technology and Information Technologies Manager at Rocky Mountain Essential Oils. In 2021, they began working at Hoodoo Digital as an Engineer 3, where they completed their first Kubernetes cluster with a test app, first production grade cluster for a client, and first HIPAA compliant cluster for a client.

Mike Morris obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science from Salt Lake Community College between 2011 and 2013, with a focus on Computer Programming. Mike received Cisco ASA Firewall & VPN Training from New Horizons in 2011. In 1998 and 1999, Morris attended Applied Technical Center, receiving MCSE + I Training. In February 2021, they completed the AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical) from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Later that year, in August 2021, Morris obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
