Liz Keys

Liz Keys, M.A., SHRM-SCP, SPHR has extensive experience in human resources. Liz was the Vice President of Human Resources at Hooker Furniture Corporation, responsible for developing and implementing people policies and programs to support the company's strategies. Liz also held the position of Human Resource Director at Hooker Furniture and Home Meridian International, where they directed all aspects of the human resource function and oversaw HR strategic planning, performance management, and training and development. Prior to that, Liz worked as a Human Resource Manager at Allen Industries Inc. and as a Staffing Coordinator at Westaff. Liz began their career as an Administrative Assistant and Recruiter at Marshall University, where they managed administrative duties and assisted with student-athlete recruitment.

Liz Keys obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Education from Bucknell University in 1998. Liz then went on to earn their Master's degree in Psychology from Marshall University in 2001.

In addition to their academic achievements, Liz Keys obtained two certifications in their field. In 2012, they obtained the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Two years later, in 2014, they achieved the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM Certification.
