Garrett Hoogendoorn

Garrett Hoogendoorn is a Senior Philanthropy Advisor for Estate Planning, Endowed and Scholarship Development at Hope College, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Garrett served as Chief Advancement Officer at Albion College from May 2018 to August 2023, where significant achievements included securing a $5 million planned gift, the largest in the college's history. In various roles at Albion, Garrett contributed to major fundraising campaigns, including closing a $100 million comprehensive campaign ahead of schedule and launching the largest campaign in the college's history, the $100 million Purple & Bold initiative. Prior experiences include positions at Grand Valley State University and internships within Michigan State University's advancement programs, focusing on donor relations and communications. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Science in Public & Non-Profit Administration with a focus on Economic Development from Grand Valley State University.
