HOPE is very excited about the expansion of our Urgent Recovery Center (URC). Our (URC) is a place of stabilization providing an emergency assessment and intensive support for individuals experiencing a mental health or substance abuse crisis. The URC setting allows individuals 18 and over to de-escalate from a crisis state in a safe therapeutic environment. With a goal of resolving the immediate crisis and stabilizing at the lowest level possible, services may also include meals/showers, detox screening, case management/peer services, and emergency medication. The URC is staffed 24/7/365 with a multidisciplinary team of a prescriber, nurse, licensed behavioral health practitioner, and peers with lived experience similar to the population served.
Schedule: 3/4 12-hour shifts - 7am - 7pm
Sunday Rotation: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday of each week, alternating Wednesdays

SUMMARY
Under immediate general supervision, the Mental Health Tech (MHT) provides peer support services; serves as an advocate; provides information and peer support for consumers. The MHT provides direct care and supervision to consumers at the Urgent Recovery Center (URC) and assures consumers are kept safe. The MHT will possess the skills to maintain a high level of professionalism, ethics and interactions with all ODMHSAS stakeholders.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of work experience in an inpatient setting.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
May be required to obtain certification for C-PRSS
Required to complete Therapeutic Options or approved safety training and annual updates.
May be required to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications.
In order to provide client transportation in private or agency vehicles, must possess current, valid Oklahoma license, and meet HOPE insurance requirements. HOPE will annually obtain copy of Motor Vehicle Record from the Department of Public Safety.
