Senior Manager - Mobility Education and Outreach at Hopelink

Sara Sisco has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Sara started their career as an Intern/Fellow at America Votes in 2012. In 2013, they joined Sidley Austin LLP as a Training and Professional Development Assistant, where they assisted in organizing training programs and managed logistics. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Clyde's Restaurant Group as a Waitress. Sara then transitioned to the Girl Scouts of Western Washington, where they initially served as a Placement Specialist, connecting individuals to Girl Scout opportunities using Salesforce. Later, they became the Community Engagement Manager, focusing on membership. In 2019, Sara joined Hopelink as a Program Manager, Education and Outreach - Mobility Management, where they managed and developed various programs aimed at improving mobility in the community. Sara was recently promoted to the role of Senior Manager - Mobility Education and Outreach, overseeing the programs, evaluating their effectiveness, and identifying partnership opportunities.

Sara Sisco received their Bachelor of Arts degree in American Government and Politics (United States) from Ripon College, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Sara later pursued a Master of Nonprofit Leadership degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at Seattle University, completing their studies from 2015 to 2017.

Hopelink

Since 1971, Hopelink has served homeless and low-income families, children, seniors and people with disabilities in King and Snohomish counties; providing stability and helping people gain the skills and knowledge they need to exit poverty for good.Hopelink provides a network of critical social services through a number of different programs –including housing, transportation, family development, financial assistance, employment programs, adult education, financial literacy training and five food banks. The agency’s service centers, housing and transportation programs help more than 60,000 people every year.
