Yalın Özcan

Yalın Özcan has a diverse range of work experience in the technology, finance, and telecommunications industries.

Yalın is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Hopi, where they manage the company's organizational structure and strategies, focusing on technology, data, and new business lines like fintech.

Previously, Yalın served as the Head of Digital Finance & Marketplace at Vodafone, overseeing FinTech and Marketplace businesses. Yalın also led the transformation of Vodafone from a Telecom Operator to a "Technology Communications Company." Additionally, they were the Head of Corporate Sales at Vodafone, where they developed and implemented corporate sales strategies and managed key accounts.

Before their time at Vodafone, Yalın was the Chief Product Officer at myGini, Inc., where they played a key role in product development.

Prior to that, they worked at Akbank as the Head of Payment Systems, responsible for managing various units and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Yalın also held positions at Turkcell as the Division Head of Retail Management & Alternative Sales Channels and at Visa Europe as the Relationship Management Group Head. At Turkcell, they managed Exclusive and Non-Exclusive Channels, while at Visa Europe, they were responsible for account management and partnerships with banks and financial institutions.

Earlier in their career, Yalın worked at Garanti Bank as the Marketing Department Manager, where they developed new products and go-to-market strategies and managed the P&L for each product.

Yalın began their career at IBM as a Business Consultant, working on projects related to bill payment systems and system integration.

Yalın's career started at Pamukbank as a System Analyst and Programmer, where they contributed to the NCR ATM Project and utility payments projects for Turkcell & Digiturk.

Yalın Özcan pursued a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics Engineering from the Istanbul Technical University between 1995 and 2000.
