Ray Tay

Ray Tay has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ray started their career in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) as an Artillery Officer, where they held different command and instructional roles. During their time at SAF, they assisted in planning operational readiness evaluations, conducted operational training, and managed logistics for exercises.

After leaving SAF, Ray worked at Achieve Group as the Director of Talent Acquisition. In this role, they managed and trained a team of consultants, built client relationships, and provided recruitment solutions. Ray also had a good understanding of the healthcare and property management industries.

Following their time at Achieve Group, Ray worked at Michael Page as a Consultant, focusing on recruitment in the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector. Ray specialized in roles related to manufacturing, engineering, quality, and business in pharmaceutical and medical devices companies.

Ray then joined SHS Engineering as the Managing Director, where they specialized in structural steel fabrication and installations for the offshore marine, oil, and gas industry. The company provided services such as new shipbuilding, ship repairs, and conversion of FPSOs.

After leaving SHS Engineering, Ray worked at Gartner as an Account Director. Ray focused on understanding the strategic business agendas of C-level executives in the Philippines region and supported their business objectives by delivering Gartner's research and advice. Ray provided services such as roadmaps for success, product/service selection, benchmarks, peer networking, and professional development.

Ray then co-founded MLBB, and most recently, they are working at Horangi Cyber Security. At Horangi, they have held various roles, including Senior Account Director, Head of Sales, and currently Country Manager. Ray is passionate about building safer cyberspace, developing partnerships with customers, and building security strategies to help achieve their objectives.
