Arwa Haddad Mba, Macc

Arwa Haddad, MBA, MACC, has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. In 1999, they began volunteering and serving as the President of the Financial Committee at St. Michael the Archangel Melkite Church. In 2007, they became a Business Owner at Value Mart until September 2013. Arwa then joined the Indiana Department of Transportation in September 2015 as a Procurement Agent, responsible for directing purchasing activities and developing departmental purchasing procedures. In February 2016, Arwa took on the role of La Porte District Finance Director at the same organization, where they led financial planning, budgeting, purchasing, and accounting for the district. In December 2017, they concluded their role as La Porte District Finance Director. From December 2014, Arwa also worked as a Senior Tax Analyst, Block Advisor Small Business Certified at H&R Block. Most recently, they joined Horizon Bank in November 2022 as a Credit Analyst.

Arwa Haddad holds a Master of Accountancy (MACC) degree with an emphasis in Forensic Accounting & Fraud from Purdue University Northwest, which they obtained in 2019. In the same year, they also earned a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Accounting & Fraud Investigation from the same institution. Prior to that, Arwa completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with an emphasis in Accounting in 2013, and their Bachelor of Science (BS) with Distinction in 2011 from Purdue University Northwest. During their undergraduate studies, they double majored in Accounting and Finance.
