Tyler Schuiteman

Tyler Schuiteman has a diverse range of work experience in the banking industry. Tyler started their career as a Teller at Independent Bank in 2015, where they provided excellent customer service and trained newly hired tellers. In 2017, they were promoted to Assistant Branch Manager, where they assisted the Bank Manager with employee reviews, hiring, and branch operations.

In 2018, Tyler joined Chase as a Personal Banker, where they built strong relationships with clients, opened deposit accounts, and referred clients to branch partners. Later in 2018, they joined HomeStreet Bank as a Credit Analyst, supporting underwriters and portfolio managers with financial analysis of borrowers and maintaining the covenant tracking system.

In 2020, Tyler moved to Independent Bank as a Financial Analyst, where they worked closely with the Bank's Controller and Accounting Officers to ensure compliance with SOX 404 requirements and assisted with SEC filings. Tyler also processed expense reports and investment transactions, and aided in month-end closing procedures.

Most recently, Tyler joined Horizon Bank in 2021 as a Credit Analyst, where they are responsible for assessing credit risk.

Tyler Schuiteman completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Alma College, from 2011 to 2015.
