Sun Sook Kim

Sun Sook Kim is a seasoned professional in biostatistics with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Biostatistics at Amgen since October 2023 and at Horizon since July 2020, Sun Sook Kim has previously held key positions including Executive Director of Clinical Research at SunBio, Inc., and Director of Biostatistics at Gilead Sciences. Additional roles include senior and associate director positions at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., Scios (Johnson & Johnson), and XOMA, as well as a foundational role at Johnson & Johnson. Sun Sook Kim holds a Master of Science degree in Statistics from Rutgers University, where studies began in 1985.
