Henning Sievert

Henning Sievert has a extensive work experience in software engineering and management positions. Henning is currently the Head of Software Engineering at Hornetsecurity, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Digital Spine in 2021. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Atlassian. From 2015 to 2019, they held the role of Principal Software Engineer at Qantas, where they managed teams and was responsible for system architecture and technical leadership. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at InterSystems, where they contributed to the development of a hospital management system. Henning also has experience as a Software Engineer at Siemens, where they helped establish a new department and developed an airport performance management system. Additionally, they worked at DLR as both a Scientist and an Application Developer, contributing to the development of air traffic management systems.

Henning Sievert obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Leibniz Universität Hannover from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed a Dipl.-Ing.(BA) degree in Information Technology from DHBW Mannheim from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained a Private Pilot License from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority in February 2016.
