Alexa Ravit

Alexa Ravit is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications & Outreach at the Horseracing Integrity & Welfare Unit since September 2022. Prior to this role, Alexa worked as the Communications Coordinator for The Jockey Club for five years, managing news releases and internal communications. Earlier experience includes positions as Social Media Manager at Rillito Park Race Track and Yearbook Editor for the University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program. Alexa has also held various internships within the racing industry, including roles at The New York Racing Association and Claiborne Farm. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Racetrack Industry from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from Cornell University.
