Dan heads up their Product liability and Regulatory departments and has been handling Product Liability claims for over 12 years, working with manufacturers, suppliers and their insurers in respect of personal injuries/fatalities, property damage and coverage issues. He has particular interests in emerging risks in relation to autonomous vehicles and e-scooters as well as food and drink claims (including product contamination, fatal allergy claims and large scale outbreaks/group actions). He is experienced in pursuing and defending overseas claims and advising on jurisdiction and choice of law. Dan regularly engages with clients on emerging risks and provides training and workshops. He is head of FOIL’s Product Liability SFT and has been recognized in Chambers & Partners as “superbly organized, with an impressive depth of knowledge”, “a great communicator” and “extremely conscientious, thorough and responsive”. Dan also leads their team of regulatory lawyers having extensive experience in criminal defense cases having practiced in this area for many years.
