Kyubin Kim

Kyubin Kim has a diverse work experience across various organizations and roles. They have worked as a Research Assistant at Cedars-Sinai since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Care Extender at UCLA Health starting in 2022. In 2021, they held multiple roles at Leadership Initiatives, including Medical Intern for the International Internship Program (IIP) and Research Intern under Dr. James Giordano. They also worked as a Family Physician Assistant at Dr. John Lee Medical Clinic, where they gained experience in various medical procedures. Additionally, Kyubin Kim founded the organization From Me to You in 2021. They also have experience as a Certified Ski Instructor at Uplands Golf & Ski Club. Kyubin Kim has held leadership positions at HOSA Canada, MEDLIFE, and Baycrest Health Sciences. They have also worked as a Retail Cashier at Shoppers Drug Mart.

Kyubin Kim completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from UCLA in the period from 2022 to 2026. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, Kim obtained a High School Diploma from William Lyon Mackenzie Collegiate Institute. Before entering high school, Kim attended St. Andrew Kim Catholic School from 2007 to 2017, focusing on Korean Language & Literature.

In addition to formal education, Kim has obtained several certifications. In December 2019, Kim received a Level 1 Ski Instructor Certification from the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance / Alliance des moniteurs de ski du Canada. In August 2018, Kim obtained Emergency First Aid with CPR-B and Standard First Aid with CPR-C certifications from Lifesaving Society Ontario. Kim also completed a Leader In Training program from the University of Toronto Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education in July 2018. Furthermore, Kim achieved First Class Honours With Distinction in Level 8 Piano and Level 8 Theory from The Royal Conservatory of Music in October 2017.
