Christy Sizemore, MSW, LISW-CP, APHSW-C, serves as the Bereavement Coordinator at Hospice of the Upstate Inc since July 2020, focusing on providing grief support to hospice families and community education. With extensive experience in social work, Christy previously worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Greenville Technical College and held positions at Homestead Hospice and Kindred Hospice, where responsibilities included bereavement support and grief counseling. Additionally, Christy contributed to Camp Sunburst on the steering committee, developing programs for grieving children. Educationally, Christy is a Doctorate of Social Work candidate at Simmons University, holding a Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Meredith College.
