Sam Taylorson is an experienced hospitality professional with a diverse background in restaurant and hotel management. Currently serving as the Owner and Chef of Mad Hatters Restaurant in Kampala, Uganda, since August 2018, Sam also works as a Recruiter for Hospitalio Hospitality Recruitment, specializing in sourcing top candidates for the hospitality sector. Previous roles include Back of House Manager at Stars Restaurant, Food and Beverage Manager at The Point Hotel, and various management positions in hotel housekeeping and operations. Sam holds a National Diploma in Hospitality and Catering Services from Boland College and has accumulated extensive experience in menu planning, staff training, and operational management across multiple establishments since entering the industry in 1998.
