Jose R. Rios

Jose R. Rios has extensive experience in engineering and operations management. Jose R. currently holds the position of Vice President of Engineering at Hostess Brands since 2020. Prior to this role, they worked at The Nature's Bounty Co. for six years, starting as a Director of Engineering and later becoming the Senior Director of Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing capital projects, supply chain optimization, and waste stream reduction projects. Before joining The Nature's Bounty Co., Jose worked at Starbucks as a Senior Operations Manager, where they managed supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution programs. Jose R. also held positions at ConAgra Foods, where they served as the Operations & Continuous Improvement Manager/Interim Plant Manager and the Plant Engineering Manager. In these roles, they oversaw daily operations, implemented continuous improvement plans, and ensured equipment performance and efficiency.

Jose R. Rios obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Saint Louis University, where they attended from 1985 to 1990.
