Yared Akalou is the Head of Design at HourWork. Yared has over 10 years of experience in the design industry, and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business. Yared is a highly skilled designer, and has a passion for helping companies improve their user experience. Yared is also the founder of IAmOther50, a design company that helps businesses create better user experiences for their customers.

Yared Akalou has a Master of Design from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Human-Centered Product Design, a Web Commerce Strategy Certification from DePaul University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Southern University in Communications.

Yared Akalou reports to Rahkeem Morris, CEO & Co-Founder. Yared Akalou works with Andrew Sheldon - Director, Product, Robert Snyder - COO & Co-Founder, and Abby Richter - Senior Program Director.
