Brandon Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Brandon started their career in 2007 as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician at Disco Associates Inc, where they worked until 2009. In 2010, they joined Clearwater Technologies as an Instrumentation and Control CSR. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Field Service Technician at Panther Industries, Inc.

In 2015, Brandon moved on to BluePrint Automation (BPA) and served as a Field Service Engineer / Project Supervisor until 2017. Brandon then briefly held the role of Aftermarket Engineering Manager at BPA before transitioning to House of Design Robotics in 2018.

At House of Design Robotics, Brandon started as a Robotics Engineer in January 2018 and later became the Robotic Systems Engineering Manager in July 2018. Brandon continued their growth within the company and assumed the position of Vice President of Automation and Robotics in September 2019. As of July 2022, they are currently working as the Principal Sales Engineer at House of Design Robotics.

Throughout their career, Brandon has gained comprehensive knowledge and experience in automation, robotics, field service, and instrumentation and control. Brandon'swork history showcases their progression and expertise in these areas.

Brandon Schmidt attended the College of Western Idaho from 2011 to 2013. Brandon obtained an Associates of Applied Science degree in Electronics Technology during this time. Before attending the College of Western Idaho, they briefly attended Boise State University from 2009 to 2010, where they studied General Studies but did not obtain a degree. Additionally, Brandon has obtained various certifications including Factory Talk View ME & PanelView Plus Programming from Rockwell Automation in June 2016, Associate Certified Electronics Technician from ETA - Electronics Technicians Association in April 2013, Customer Service Specialist also from ETA - Electronics Technicians Association in March 2013, and OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Course from Career Safe in January 2013.
