Peggy Christensen-Day

Peggy Christensen-Day is a seasoned professional in substance use disorder counseling, currently serving as a Licensed Advanced Substance Use Disorder Counselor at The Haven Treatment Center since May 2023, focusing on residential treatment for men. Previously, Peggy has held roles such as ASUDC and Certified Case Manager at Valley Behavioral Health since August 2015, working with women with mental illness and substance abuse issues. With extensive experience, Peggy has also provided outpatient counseling and facilitated various groups at House of Hope since May 2006, and has worked in multiple counseling capacities at organizations including Next Level Recovery and Volunteers of America Utah. Peggy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology/Sociology from the University of Utah, obtained between 1995 and 1998.
