Simon Beer

Simon Beer has worked in various roles since 1995. Simon began their career as Business Owner/Manager and Tutor (Maths, Science, IT) at Mathwiz. In 1996, they became Laboratory Director/Demonstrator at Macquarie University. From 1999-2001, they worked as System Analyst at Eurofield Information Solutions and as Business Owner/Manager and Website and Database Engineer/Developer at Triangle Sun and Linkworks. From 2005-2022, they worked as Affiliate Marketer and Full-Stack Developer, Various Websites and Niches at Codewiz. Simon currently works as Risk Analyst at Household Capital, where they are responsible for processing and credit risk analysis of financial data in MySQL Workbench, Excel, Python, and Tableau, as well as developing methods to improve speed/automation of the process, mostly by writing Python code.

Simon Beer completed a Bachelor of Science - BS in Physics from Macquarie University from 1994 to 1999. In 2001, they obtained a Certificate IV Website Production, Crows Nest TAFE from TAFE NSW, as well as a Certificate IV in Small Business Management from Northside Business Administration Centre, Chatswood NSW. In 2018, they began a Master of Divinity - MDiv at Morling College, which they are still currently enrolled in. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security and Networking from Melbourne Institute of Technology.
