Jean-Pierre Mondalek

Jean-Pierre Mondalek has a diverse and extensive work experience history. Jean-Pierre is currently the Chief Executive Officer of houza, a property portal in the UAE. Prior to this, in 2022, they served as a Seed Investor for Needle, a company that provides data analysis and growth suggestions for businesses.

In 2020, Mondalek was a Seed Investor and Member of the Board of Advisors for SAR, a pioneer in public company risk management data analytics solutions. In 2019, they invested in GoodPath, a wellness marketplace aiming to redefine chronic health condition management.

Mondalek's involvement with Yoco, an online payment solutions company, began in 2013 as a Seed Investor and Advisor. From 2019 to 2022, they held the position of Head of Cross Channel and Category Marketing (XCM), MENA at Amazon.

Their mentorship role at Intelak Incubator started in 2016 and continued until 2019. Leading up to that, their responsibilities at OLX Group consisted of being the Head of Convenient Transactions (Cars) Asia, Middle-East, and Africa from 2018 to 2019. Jean-Pierre was also the General Manager of dubizzle Motors, the leading car classifieds platform in the UAE, from 2016 to 2018.

Mondalek's career began with their role as the General Manager of Uber UAE, where they managed the business from launch and focused on revenue and ridership growth. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as a Non-executive Director of Autohaus Middle East LLC from 2012 to 2015.

Jean-Pierre Mondalek has a diverse education history. Jean-Pierre began by earning their High School Degree from the International School of Choueifat Sharjah, with the exact start year unavailable. Jean-Pierre then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics at Babson College, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In 2001, Jean-Pierre participated in the Honors Study Abroad Program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), focusing on Economics. Jean-Pierre later attended INSEAD in 2011 and completed their studies in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Management.
