Shay Rom

Shay Rom is currently the Mobile 3D & AR experiences team leader at Houzz, having joined in March 2017 to develop Android 3D and AR experiences, including innovative projects like "3D Room Scanning" and "View in my room." Prior experience includes serving as the head of the Android team at CallApp, where Shay led the development of a widely used consumer application that achieved a top developer badge on Google Play. Shay also facilitated Android education as a course lecturer at John Bryce and gained leadership experience as an Android developer and team leader at Fourier Education, in addition to earlier work as a C++ application developer at Singleton Technologies Ltd. Educational background includes courses in computer science from The Open University of Israel and a BSc in electrical engineering from Ruppin Academic Center.
