Marcio Souza has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles in various multinational companies. Marcio is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Hovione. Previously, they held the position of Global Head of Engineering & Capabilities at Roche, where they were responsible for establishing and updating the Target Operating Model for the Engineering community. Before that, Marcio worked at Johnson & Johnson as the Director of MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) for EMEA and Global Make Engineering. Marcio also served as the Director of LATAM Engineering at Johnson & Johnson. Prior to that, Marcio held positions at Procter & Gamble, where they were the Argentina Hair Care Making Program Director and the LA Baby Care Engineering Director. Marcio also worked as the Global Baby Care Engineering for Procter & Gamble. At Dow Corning, Marcio served as the Process and Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Senior Process Engineer, and Projects Engineer. Marcio Souza earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 1996 to 2000. Marcio then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2003 to 2005. In addition, they obtained certifications such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2012 and the Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - Level I from The Dow Chemical Company in 2005.
