Janice Nolan

Janice Nolan, BS, MPH, SHRM-SCP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in medical administration and operations. Currently, as the Science Operations Manager at Howard Hughes Medical Institute since January 1993, Janice oversees the administrative management of 21 medical research laboratories across 10 universities in 7 states, including budgeting, HR management, procurement, and facilities management. Prior to this role, Janice served as an Administrator at the University of Chicago Medicine from March 1980 to May 1992, where responsibilities included overseeing housestaff, managing evening operations, and administering various neurophysiology and neurology services. Janice holds a Master of Public Health in Health Services Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Chicago State University.
