Ian Vaughan

Ian Vaughan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ian currently works as the Data Science and Integration Team Lead at Howdens Joinery Co, where they have been since November 2022. Prior to this, they held roles such as BI/ETL Developer and Lead SharePoint Developer at the same company.

Before joining Howdens Joinery Co, Ian worked at St Andrews Group of Hospitals as an Intranet Developer Analyst from February 2008 to November 2010. Ian also served as a Business Systems Analyst at Northamptonshire Police from April 2004 to February 2008.

Ian started their career as a GTP at Weston Favell Upper School in 2003. Ian then worked at Pink Roccade as a Specialist Applications Consultant from January 2001 to August 2003, where they were involved in developing and designing applications using the UML methodology and Java.

Prior to Pink Roccade, Ian worked at Scoot Technology Limited as a Business Modelling Manager from April 2000 to January 2001. In this role, they managed the architecture of the content and business model and led a team responsible for maintaining it.

Before joining Scoot Technology Limited, Ian worked at Diva Solutions Limited as a Senior Systems Engineer from August 1997 to April 2000. Ian also had a role as an Analyst Programmer at PMS Creative Ltd in 1996.

Ian's earlier experiences include roles at Group 1 Software as a Software Developer/Team Leader/Technical Liaison from September 1994 to August 1996, and at IBM United Kingdom Ltd as a Programmer/Programmer Analyst from September 1990 to August 1994.

Ian Vaughan obtained a Master's degree in Data Science from Edinburgh Napier University between 2020 and 2023. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (Integrated) at the University of Portsmouth from 1990 to 1993.
