Andrea Cavanaugh, MPH, serves as the HR Strategic Services Team Lead and Sr. Consultant at HR Works since February 2023. Previously, Andrea worked at L3Harris Technologies from December 2018 to February 2023 as a Lead Human Resource Business Partner and Sr. Specialist in the same role. Prior to that, Andrea was employed at Thermo Fisher Scientific from July 2015 to December 2018 as a Human Resources Business Partner and HR Generalist/LOA Program Manager. Andrea’s early career includes a position as an HR Generalist at Loretto from June 2013 to July 2015. Expertise includes recruitment, onboarding, disability and workers' compensation programs, personal leaves, FMLA, and a strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including contract negotiations in both unionized and nonunionized environments. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Degree in Business Management and Human Resources from Keuka College.
