Konstantin Lutze has a strong background in system development in the life science and diagnostic business. Konstantin started their career as the Head of Software Development at QIAGEN Instruments AG in April 1994 and held the position until August 2000. Konstantin then advanced to the role of VP Instrument Development at the same company in September 2000. In this position, they led a global team of 150 people across three sites in the US and EU for a Next Generation Sequencing Project. Konstantin successfully oversaw the market introduction of the resulting product, the "GeneReader" instrument and workflow, in 2015. In January 2017, Konstantin Lutze joined HSE AG as the Chief Technology Officer, where they leveraged their 20+ years of system development experience to support automation projects in the life science and diagnostic industry.
Konstantin Lutze attended the University of Stuttgart from 1987 to 1994, where they earned a degree in Diplom-Ingenieur with a specialization in Elektrotechnik.
