Elise Mortensen

Head of Growth at HTD Health

Elise Mortensen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Elise started their career in 2013 as an Undergraduate Teaching and Research Award Fellow at Brown University. Elise then took on roles such as Teaching Assistant in the Sociology Department and Undergraduate Data Analyst at IBES. In 2014, Elise worked as a Communications & Design Intern at Emergency USA and later as a Summer Fellow at New Sector Alliance.

In 2015, Elise joined the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts as an intern with Lincoln Center International. Elise also worked at Brown University as a Research Analyst, where they provided research and program evaluation support for The Leadership Alliance. Additionally, Elise held positions at Quartz, serving as a Branded Content Fellow, Associate Editor for Branded Content, and Digital Product Strategist for Marketing Products.

From 2018 to 2019, Elise worked as a User Experience (UX) Researcher at Thinx Inc. before transitioning to HTD Health in 2019. At HTD Health, Elise first served as Director of Research and contributed to the development of custom healthcare software applications. Elise then took on the role of Head of Growth, where they are currently responsible for driving the company's growth initiatives.

Throughout their career, Elise has demonstrated a strong ability to adapt and thrive in various roles, leveraging their expertise in research, program evaluation, content creation, and product strategy.

Elise Mortensen has a diverse education history. Elise attended the Brown-RISD Dual Degree Program, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Social Analysis & Research as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Printmaking. Additionally, they enrolled at Brown University, focusing on Social Analysis and Research. Finally, they studied Printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design, obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree. Furthermore, Elise Mortensen acquired the certification of Certified Personalization Expert from Dynamic Yield in October 2018.
