Tim Gleich

Tim Gleich, CPA has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Tim started their career as a Staff Accountant at Kutchins, Robbins & Diamond, Ltd., where they prepared monthly and year-end financial statements for clients in various industries. Tim was also responsible for adjusting entries and fixed asset purchases/disposals.

After that, Tim worked as a Tax and Audit Intern at the same company before moving on to Walgreens as a Financial and Operational Auditor II. In this role, they conducted internal audits to ensure compliance with various laws and regulations. Tim also led an analysis project across multiple distribution centers to identify and allocate expenses accurately.

Later on, Tim joined Hub Group as a Senior Financial Analyst, where they analyzed terminal level profit & loss statements and conducted monthly accounting and financial analysis for the Central Region. Tim presented their findings to Senior Management. Tim then progressed to Manager, Financial Analysis and Internal Reporting, Director, FP&A-Intermodal & Corporate, and Senior Director, FP&A-Intermodal, Brokerage, & Corporate, before serving as the AVP, FP&A-Intermodal, Brokerage, Logistics, Dedicated & Corporate. In these positions, they gained increasing responsibilities and provided financial and operational metrics to Executive Management to support decision-making.

Since 2014, Tim has held the position of VP of Finance at Hub Group, where they continue to analyze and present financial and operational metrics to provide clarity to Executive Management.

Tim Gleich, CPA completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from Elmhurst University in 2010. Tim further pursued their studies and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Analytics and Innovation from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2021 and 2023. In 2012, Tim obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Tim completed their secondary education at Marist High School in Chicago between 2002 and 2006.
