Sofía Gimeno Martínez

Sofía Gimeno Martínez has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance. Sofía is currently the Head of Finance Spain at Huboo Fulfilment, a position they started in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Seqera Labs as the Head of Finance from May 2022 to November 2022. From 2017 to 2022, Sofía held roles at Inbenta, including VP of Finance and Controller. Sofía was responsible for preparing financial materials and reports, managing the accounting team, and developing financial plans and forecasts. Before joining Inbenta, they worked as a Controller financiero at autopistas from 2009 to 2017. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Financial Controller at Planeta DeAgostini, Junior Financial Controller at Schlemmer Iberica, S.A.U., and Banking Business Analyst at Banco Santander. Sofía's experience also includes working as an Account payable at FSSC General Motors, where they were responsible for timely payments and vendor management.

Sofía Gimeno Martínez has a diverse education history. In 2009, they attended Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they obtained a Master's degree in Financial and Accounting Management of the Company, specializing in Control Management. Then, in 2019 to 2020, they pursued a monographic course on the US GAAP at CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros, focusing on International Economics. In 2000 to 2001, they studied at Erasmus School of Economics, but the specific degree and field of study are unknown. In 2017, they enrolled at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) to learn about Project Management through an introductory course. Recently, in 2022, they completed a 50-hour course on Startup Valuation at Iniciativas Empresariales.
