Director of medical genomics at Human Longevity

Xiaoli D. has a wealth of experience in medical genomics, genetics, and research. Xiaoli began their career in 1999 as an undergraduate at Lanzhou University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in School of Life Sciences and Technology. Xiaoli then went on to pursue a Doctor of Science at Peking Union Medical College/ Chinese Academy of Medical Science/ Tsinghua University, where they studied diagnostic biomarkers for esophageal cancer patients using proteomics assay and molecular pathology. In 2008, Xiaoli D. became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute, where they researched tumor suppressor gene-signaling pathways, binding partners, and potential clinical applications. From 2011 to 2013, Xiaoli D. was an Editorial Board member for the Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research, and a Guest Blogger for Bio Careers. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, and from 2014 to 2018, they were a Manager, Senior Review Analyst and Supervisor, Senior Review Analyst at GeneDx. Most recently, Xiaoli D. has been the Director of Medical Genomics at Human Longevity, Inc. since 2021.

Xiaoli D. received their PhD in Cancer Biology from Peking Union Medical College between 2003 and 2008. Xiaoli also earned a BS in Biotechnology from Lanzhou University between 1999 and 2003. In addition, Xiaoli D. holds certifications from the New York State Department of Health (Certification of Qualification in Molecular Genetic Testing, obtained in September 2022), the California Department of Public Health (Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist and Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist, obtained in July and February 2022, respectively), the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG, obtained in September 2021), NCI (NCI Knowledge Management Program, obtained in July 2012), Georgetown University (Business Administration Certificate, obtained in December 2011), and the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center (NIH Clinical Research Curriculum Certificate, obtained in June 2011).
