Philip Hinson is a Research Scientist at the Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO) since June 2020, specializing in assessment development, data collection, and qualitative analysis. Responsibilities include leading the creation of high-stakes hiring assessments, managing test item banks, conducting statistical analyses, and facilitating item development workshops. Previously, Philip served as a Research Associate and Student Organizational Development Consultant at Appalachian State University, where improvements in data communication and safety systems were identified. Early experience includes roles at Shurtape Technologies, a library internship at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and assistance in biological psychology research. Philip holds a Master of Arts in Industrial Organizational Psychology and Human Resources Management and a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from Appalachian State University, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology and History from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
