Amber Layfield

Amber Layfield, MPA, currently serves as a Project Leader in Workplace Strategies at HTI since July 2023, where responsibilities include leading critical projects and conducting audits to deliver HR solutions. Previously, Amber held various roles at 98 Ventures from June 2021 to July 2023, including Recruiting Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, and Onboarding Supervisor. Prior experience at Safelight, Inc. spanned from May 2016 to June 2021, with positions ranging from Program Manager to Intern. Amber's early career included roles at Appalachian State University, such as Psychology-Law Research Assistant and UREC Mind & Body Fitness Program Manager. Academic achievements include a Master of Public Administration focused on Administration of Justice and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, all obtained from Appalachian State University.
