Alan Hodges

Alan Hodges began their work experience as a Temp Employee for Chevron in 2008, where they created and implemented a process to reduce pumping unit swap costs. Alan then worked at Chevron as a Steam Operator for eight months in 2009. From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Systems Integration Analyst at CompuCom, supporting the backup environment for various locations. Alan Hodges joined TEKsystems in 2013 as a System Administrator, specializing in backup administration for an Enterprise DOD environment. Alan worked at DXC Technology from 2017 to 2018 as a Backup Administrator, involved in the design, setup, and day-to-day operations of EMC backup systems. At Perspecta, Alan acted as a Backup Administrator from 2018 to 2020. Since 2020, they have been working at Humana via Trace3, serving as a Data Protection Engineer and managing backups using Avamar, Rubrik, and Spectrum Protect. Alan recently transitioned to the role of Senior Storage Engineer at Humana in 2021. In 2023, Alan Hodges was promoted to the position of Lead Storage Engineer.

Alan Hodges obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained a CompTIA Security ce certification from CompTIA in January 2013.
