Andy Southerland

Andy Southerland has extensive experience in corporate strategy and business development, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Strategy at Humana since September 2006. In this role, Andy has effectively executed enterprise strategies and led various strategic initiatives. Prior experience at Humana includes positions as Director of Business Development, where Andy led a team focused on securing new Department of Defense contracts, and as a Capture Strategic Consultant, where Andy developed a successful proposal for the major TRICARE contract. Additionally, Andy has contributed to the profitability of divisions as a Strategic Engagement Leader. Prior to joining Humana, Andy worked at GE Appliances as a Product Manager, creating customer-driven products that enhanced growth and profitability. Andy holds both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville.
